When the subject is the hunt for, and eventual killing of, Osama Bin Laden, and its directed by Kathryn Bigalow (The Hurt Locker) expectations are high, and they are more than met.
Don't expect an action packed flag waving exercise, this is an intelligent slow burning drama with a lot to take in.Bare with it though, the first 90 minutes is intense dialogue, then the intelligence gets the big lead.
You know the outcome, but its brilliantly filmed.Tense, riveting film-making viewed through infra red goggles, it's real life PS3 Call of Duty, but the real deal, great performances all round but the jewel is Jessica Chastain as CIA op Mia.
Outstanding.
