Nurse (2013)

By day Abby Russell (Paz De La Huerta) is a dedicated Nurse, helping the sick and needy, but by night, she's a female 'vigalante', luring cheating men to their brutal deaths, she takes a younger Nurse Danni (Katrina Bowden) under her wing as mentor, but soon Danni becomes to suspect Abby of foul play.

Well the thought of a buxom Nurse butchering her way though 90 mins of late night schlock horror sleaze had my boxes ticked but sadly 'Nurse' is for the most part condition critical. Yes the finale is bonkers, a bitch fight, lashings of cheap ultra violence (scalpels in eyeballs etc) and Nursey turns into an unstoppable Terminator killing 'machine' but the previous hour is a let down. Paz's  trashy dialogue is painfully delivered in an awful monotone drall, it's all  a bad mix of 'Fatal Attraction' and a female 'Death Wish' (though 1980's revenge flick, the excellent 'Ms. 45' springs to mind) and the only saving grace early on is Katrina Bowden sporting an outfit sponsored by Anne Summers!
