Veteran Astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney) and medical engineer Dr Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) are on a routine space walk, but disaster strikes when they are hit by a meteoroid shower, their shuttle is destroyed, the are alone in space to some how find a way to safety....
At a running time of just 90 minutes you will feel like you've experienced what our two astronauts have, cut off from the outside world, literally, has Planet Earth and deep space looked more beautiful, yet terrifying and above all lonely. Clooney and Bullock (especially) give outstanding performances, this is a thrilling and visually stunning drama, not so much science fiction as the technology is now, which makes this film all the more gripping and plausible.
