About Time (2013)

 

From the writer of 'Love Actually, 'Notting Hill' and 'Four Weddings'.......what was I thinking to watch this??

 

Yes it's a Richard Curtis movie and what do we get? Well the premise is  good, a 21 year old lad is told by his Father that he can time travel back in time, thus every time he acts like a pompous middle class fool (which he does, as do most of the films characters) and messes up a chance of a relationship, he can skip back and amend his errors.

 Yes it's a fluffy rom com, so he uses his 'super power' to woo a slightly posh Waitrose 20 some thing, first thing I'd have done is jump back in time and do the lottery!! As it's a Richard Curtis movie all the characters are bumbling, eccentric, middle or upper class Brits straight out of a Sunday evening tv drama.....bleughhh!
