Brandon (Michael Fassbender) is a New Yorker who shuns intimacy and relationships, he just wants sex, be it with casual strangers he picks up, prostitutes, or web porn, he is by all accounts a sex addict. His life though becomes 'complicated' when his wayward sister Sissy (Carey Mulligan) turns up to stay unexpectedly.
Fassbender and Mulligan put in great performances, but this is just grim, sleazy and very pretentious, the first half of the movie just seems to consist of Fassbender having sex, wandering around with his tackle out, or firing one off with his laptop, dialogue is minimal, it's not a bad film, just not very entertaining and very difficult to enjoy, and possibly the most unsexy 'sex movie' for some time.
