According to the press blurb "Oblivion" is brought to us by the visionary director of TRON: Legacy and producers of Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Well I can't say I've seen the Tron movie (no intention to either) and just because he financed the brilliant 'Apes movie, doesn't mean he was the vision behind it. So what do we end up with, a visionary Sci-Fi event movie like last years "Prometheus"? No.
We get a painfully dull yawn-fest, with Cruise wandering around baron Earth, occasionally having a ding dong with some daft flying drones, in between dull exchanges of dialogue with a computer and some other woman. Not even the appearance of Olga Kurylenko can brighten up proceedings. A film that gives John Travoltas "Battlefield Earth" a run for dull in the world of Sci-Fi.

I like this movie, i thought it had some good ideas but it did tail of towards the end 8/10
