So we come to the third and hopefully final episode in the sorry 'Hangover' series .Part one had it's moments, but for me I didn't like its dark, almost sinister underbelly, though this was nothing compared to the quite vile sequel.
Expectations then were pretty low, is it as bad as the critics would have you believe? Well the good news is it doesn't reach the depths of part 2, in fact for the first third of the movie its actually quite watchable, then they return to Las Vegas and the whole movie goes down the pan.The biggest problem the series, and this one again, has is that it contains two of the most loathsome characters ever committed to screen, the lazy idiotic Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and the quite offensive Mr Chow (Ken Jeong) the most absurd racially stereotyped character you're likely to be subjected to in the 21st Century!
The movie has its odd funny moments, but the trouble is, for the most part the film is more road movie than comedy, and hopefully this is the final episode.
