Top Dog (2014)

Yep, It's yet another Brit gangster flick set in 'Lahn-dahn' and the gang also happen to be football hooligans, it's written by ex hooligan Dougie Brimson who wrote 'Green Street' (which wasn't bad in all fairness) and directed by Martin Kemp, yes the fella from Spandau Ballet, it's an odd cocktail and sadly one that is destined for  the bargain bins of your local Morrison's (you could pick it up for seven quid when it was released!)

Cockney hooligan gang take on local Mobsters and bite off more than they can chew. Cliches galore, one of the gangs Wives goes into labour  *SPOLIER ALERT* the Father get's jumped, beaten to a pulp and thrown into a Canal, admittedly there's some good performances from Leo Gregory as the gang leader Billy Evans and Vincent Regan as Watson, the Mob King pin but this is your average straight to dvd release that we've seen time and time again.
