Robocop (2013)

It's another remake, but not just another remake, but a remake that is a classic of it's genre, violent, hugely intelligent, a satire on the US dream and capitalism, really, does the world need a re-working of Paul Verhoeven's powerhouse classic?

No.

The cast is good, some heavy-weights, Michael Keaton, Samuel Jackson, Gary Oldman, that's pretty much the plus points. A dull slow paced first hour, Robocop's suit like he's more designed for some extreme sports, the film is extinguished of it's originals satire, black humour, cartoon ultra-violence, this is strictly clean PG13 video game style action, a film that is just mediocre and to be honest rather dull.

Robocop, you have been found guilty of blandness.
