Parkland (2013)

'Parkland' recounts the  events that occurred in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963, the day President John F. Kennedy was assassinated, and the whole world was shaken to it's core.

There's no denying the acting is of the highest standard (a fine cast including Billy Bob Thornton, Paul Giamatti and Jeremy Strong), the scenes in the Hospital when surgeons fight to save Kennedys life are incredibly powerful, but I couldn't really see the point of this release, we all know the story (well kind of), it's been told and documented countless times, and good as this is, it doesn't really have anything new to add, ending strangely when Oswald is killed, with no mention of his killer Jack Ruby?
