A Danish cargo ship is hijacked by Somali pirates, their demands for ransom are in the millions of Dollars, a figure the shipping company are advised not to pay, over the coming weeks....months..a game of cat and mouse plays out over the final figure with a peoples lives at stake.
Filmed almost documentary style, you can almost share the sense of dread, claustrophobia and fear that the hostages feel, lack of food, water, basic hygiene, the fear of one of the armed kidnappers 'losing it'. Low key and tense this is a fine at times quite harrowing piece of film making.
