The Dyatlov Pass Incident (aka Devils Pass) (2013)

Based on true events, in 1959, nine experienced climbers were found frozen to death in the Ural mountains of Northern Russia, 50 years later a group of US students retrace their steps in a hope to find out what really happened.

Directed by Renny Harlin (Die Hard 2, Cliffhanger) 'The Dyatlov Pass Incident' really doesn't have one ounce of originality, it's basically 'The Blair Witch Project' on ice, later stealing the visuals and horror from the first [REC] movie, but it does it well. Slow burning, gripping, some good visuals, none too annoying cast, though the odd dodgy bit of dialogue does creep in:

"It's like a giant worm hole...a transporter"
How did it get here?"
"I don't know"

Things all go a bit X Files in the final 20 minutes and it's topped off with a rather clever 'twist' finale, well worth a look, though Gemma Atkinson's never worn so many clothes!! (Boo!)
