World War Z (2013)

Expectations were high for this one from earlier in the year when the trailer was released, a big budget Summer blockbuster movie about the end of the world with a big star, would it be a let down which so often it is? (step forward Tom Snooze and "War Of The Worlds")

The answer is a resounding NO. Fast paced from the off when the initial infection hits the US, it's an intelligent movie with great special effects and some pounding action set pieces, remember the trailer and the 'wall scene'? wait until you see the entire 'attack', a great piece of action cinema and one of the best in recent years!

As I've said, well paced, great action, nasty vicious Zombies, and thankfully an intelligent ending with no flag waving and back patting US style (hello Will Smith etc)
