The Liability (2013)

 

A young lad Adam (Jack O'Connell) is hired by his gangster Father In Law (Peter Mullen) to do a day's driving, but it soon becomes apparent the guy he's working for, Roy (Tim Roth) is a hitman.

It's got Tim Roth in it so in my book it's got to be worth a punt, and it hits the spot.Adam and Roy make a good bickering miss matched 'couple', an often funny screenplay, with almost comic book violence, and a plot that zips along at a fine pace, this is a very enjoyable British comedy/drama.

Straight to DVD is something you might associate with  the latest Corey Haim film, don't stick it in the same bracket as this and give it a worthwhile viewing.
