Expectations it must be said weren't high, directed by Uwe Boll, widely regarded as one of the worst directors in the business who brought us such 'treats' as House Of The Dead, Alone In The Dark and Postal, which between them mustered ratings of 4%, 1% and 8% on Rotten Tomatoes.
But, would you believe it, Rampage, is good, actually, really good.
A slightly edgy plot, a twenty something with a grudge against modern society arms himself with an array of weapons and goes on a senseless killing spree in his small American hometown.
Filmed in a documentary style the film is edgy, well acted, bloody and can be best described as a film version of when you go on a killing spree when playing one of the Grand Theft Auto games!
