Stand Off (aka Whole Lotta Sole) (2011)

I have to admit after seeing the original cover for this movie, which I'd never heard of, I was expecting some Hollywood Bank heist flick, how wrong was I!

Jimbo (Martin McCann) is up to his eyeballs in debt to the local gangster Mad Dog Flynn (David O'Hara), so decides to hold up the local Fish Market, this is turn leads to a stand off with the Police when he seeks refuge in an antiques store owned by new to town Yank Joe (Brendan Fraser-yes him!)

Its' all a bit daft, and nonsensical with cliches galore, the final scenes in particular include the most inept S.A.S squad ever, as they stand in a street, whilst a bazooka is fired, barely batting an eyelid, but it's harmless and just about worth spending the 80 mins or so on viewing.
