The Helpers (2012)

A group of 7 friends (the usual mix of obnoxious American idiots) embark on a road trip to Las Vegas, one of them, the 'geek' (we know this because he wears glasses with thick rims) documents the trip with a video camera from the 1980's, along the way they break down, and come across a remote bar/Motel, the locals are friendly and offer them hospitality, drinks and a room for the night...you can see where this is going can't you....

Before you can say "I SAW that coming" we're back in the world of horror torture/yawn  sorry porn.The idiots all wake up, with no recollection of the previous night, one of the women is tied by her arms and legs to two vehicles, another in a bath, whilst her boyfriend is adjacent with a deadly electric cable attached to his hand, weighed down with a bucket of rocks....

There's lots of screaming, dumb dialogue (pointing at a CCTV camera in the room "Babe, what's that?) a few moments of gore, but under an hour into its small 77 minute running time, it loses direction and ideas, with lot's of snivelling, shouting and fighting, and the ending sucks too.
