Newly single Jesse (writer and Director Josh Radnor) is invited by his favourite Tutor, Professor Peter Hoberg (Richard Jenkins), back to his Campus to speak at his retirement 'do', during the weekend stay he meets the charming, sweet precocious 19 year old 'Zibby', they instantly hit it off with their love of books and begin a long distant 'relationship', but will the age gap hinder a step to further things.
Lovely charming characters, witty and sweet, without ever being sickly sweet, and another great performance from rising star Elizabeth Olsen, "Liberal Arts" doesn't stray into a cliched rom-com, it's mature well written and a highly enjoyable comedy/drama.
